國際家務工聯會秘書長、前香港職工會聯盟總幹事鄧燕娥3月9日在香港被國安人員以帶走,經兩日通宵扣查後,於3月11日獲准以20萬現金保釋候查,另須交出旅遊證件。 鄧燕娥自80年代初開始參與工人運動,曾任職基督教工業委員和香港職工會聯盟達30年。其後於2010年代起組織全球各地家務工,有份推動成立香港亞洲家務工工會聯會,並於2013年當選國際家務工聯會創會秘書長。 鄧於3月9日在香港赤柱監獄外後被國安部警察帶走,據報她當時剛探望丈夫,在囚工運領袖李卓人,在離開監獄時,被國安人員以涉嫌干犯「勾結外國或者境外勢力危害國家安全罪」被捕。
