Tai Shing, an experienced social worker who advocates for the rights of underprivileged people in Hong Kong, decided to leave for the UK after the implementation of the Hong Kong National Security Law. Tai Shing, who has always criticised the government policies on the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance Scheme and subdivided housing, now fears his life in the city due to the widespread forced dissolution of civic organisations. Now, using his frontline experience in supporting the new immigrants in Hong Kong, he is helping newly arriving Hongkongers adjust to life in the UK.
